Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new lineup of Odyssey gaming monitors, including the world’s first gaming monitors to support ultra-high 6K resolution. The company hosted its “The First Look” event on January 4 (local time) at a dedicated exhibition space in Las Vegas ahead of CES 2026, revealing five new flagship models.
The newly announced lineup includes the world’s first 32-inch glasses-free 3D 6K monitor, Odyssey 3D (G90XH); the first 6K 32-inch gaming monitor, Odyssey G8 (G80HS); a 27-inch 5K 180Hz Odyssey G8 (G80HF); a 32-inch QD-OLED 240Hz Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH); and the world’s first dual-mode-based 1,040Hz 27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H).
The Odyssey 3D (G90XH) features glasses-free 3D technology combined with 6K resolution. Compared with its predecessor, the display size has increased by approximately 40 percent to 32 inches. It supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz, a 1ms response time, and a dual-mode option offering 3K resolution at 330Hz. The monitor enables immersive 3D gameplay across around 60 supported titles, including First Berserker: Khazan and Stellar Blade.
The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) delivers 6K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and also supports a 3K 330Hz dual mode. The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) offers 5K resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate, along with a QHD 360Hz high-refresh-rate mode. Both models support DisplayPort 2.1, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth and responsive gameplay.
The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) is based on QD-OLED technology and supports 4K resolution with refresh rates of up to 240Hz. It delivers stable performance with advanced display features such as HDR and variable refresh rate (VRR). The monitor also supports up to 98W charging via USB-C and is certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, ensuring deep black levels and high contrast.
The ultra-high-refresh-rate Odyssey G6 (G60H) is a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor that supports a native 600Hz refresh rate. When dual mode is enabled, it achieves an industry-first 1,040Hz refresh rate, delivering exceptional performance for fast-paced esports environments.
