January 20, 2026 — CONX, a global blockchain mainnet formerly known as XPLA, announced the final winners of the ‘Nom Arena’ global game contest, co-hosted with Com2uS Holdings.
The competition was held as part of the ‘CONX Arena’ initiative, a creative ecosystem platform developed by CONX that integrates artificial intelligence and real-world assets (RWA). The project was designed to stimulate secondary creation within the Web3 gaming ecosystem by inviting developers to reinterpret the universe of Com2uS Holdings’ flagship intellectual property, Nom.
Following a multi-stage evaluation process, the top prize was awarded to ‘Nom: Reverse’, a 2D platformer puzzle game. The title reimagines Nom’s signature screen-rotation mechanic as a gravity-shift system, offering a new gameplay experience while preserving the core identity of the original IP. Judges cited its balance of originality and respect for the source material as key factors in its selection.
The winning team will receive an immediate prize of $1,000 worth of CONX coins (XPLA). Com2uS Holdings plans to handle global publishing of ‘Nom: Reverse’, with a targeted release within the year. Subject to development and launch milestones, the team may receive total rewards of up to $8,000.
Two runner-up titles were also selected: ‘Idle NOM’, an idle-style PC game, and ‘Nom: Beyond’, a running action puzzle game. Each runner-up team will receive $1,000 worth of XPLA, and discussions are underway regarding potential global publishing opportunities with Com2uS Holdings.
A notable aspect of the project is its settlement infrastructure. Games released through the initiative will introduce a tokenized IP revenue model, marking a first for the domestic gaming industry. Under this structure, the rights of both developers and the IP holder are issued as digital tokens, enabling automated revenue distribution. Using the On-chain Distribution License (ODL), a settlement standard developed by CONX in collaboration with Com2uS Holdings, future game revenues will be distributed automatically and transparently in stablecoins such as USDC and USDT based on predefined terms.
CONX, a Layer 1 blockchain supported by global Web3 companies, is positioning itself as next-generation fintech infrastructure. The network focuses on enabling traditional financial institutions, cultural content providers, and technology companies to securely migrate real-world assets onto the blockchain through advanced stablecoin systems.
Building on the momentum of ‘Nom Arena’, CONX has also launched the ‘Joo Jaebum Arena’, a Web3 art collaboration with pixel artist Joo Jaebum. Through these initiatives, CONX aims to establish a blockchain-based creative economy that spans gaming, art, and digital content.
