Netmarble has unveiled new content for its upcoming mobile roguelite action RPG “Solo Leveling: KARMA” at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, stepping up efforts to build global interest in the title ahead of its release.
The company said Monday that it premiered a new promotional video and key art for the game at the event, one of the world’s largest celebrations of anime and pop culture.
The newly released video centers on protagonist Sung Jinwoo battling mysterious enemies, highlighting the game’s fast-paced combat and darker atmosphere. It also introduces new characters that expand the original universe and offer a glimpse into the game’s original storyline.
The video concludes with a teaser pointing to a new announcement scheduled for September, signaling that additional details about the game are expected later this year.
Netmarble also announced that acclaimed actor and voice performer Troy Baker will provide the English voice of Antares, the Monarch of Destruction and one of the key characters in the Solo Leveling universe.
Baker is widely known for portraying Joel in “The Last of Us” and has appeared in numerous major video game and animation productions.
“As a longtime fan of Solo Leveling, it is incredibly meaningful to take on such a powerful character as Antares,” Baker said. “I look forward to showing audiences a side of my performance they may not have seen before.”
The event also featured a live dubbing performance by Aleks Le, the English voice actor for Sung Jinwoo in the Solo Leveling anime series. Le performed key scenes from the game on stage, creating a crossover experience between the anime and the upcoming title.
“Solo Leveling: KARMA” is based on the globally popular Solo Leveling intellectual property, which has expanded from a web novel and webtoon into animation and games.
The new title tells an original story centered on Sung Jinwoo’s 27-year war against the Monarchs, a period that was not explored in detail in the original work. Players will experience battles in the dimensional rift through roguelite action gameplay while discovering a new chapter in the Solo Leveling universe.
Netmarble is positioning the title for a global audience, with its Anime Expo appearance offering an early look at how the company plans to expand the franchise beyond its existing fan base. Further details are expected to be announced in September.
