Legal AI startup Ivo said it is expanding beyond San Francisco with new offices in London and New York, as the company reported a sixfold increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) over the past 12 months and plans to triple its headcount to 180 employees in 2026.
In an announcement dated March 5, 2026, Ivo described the expansion as part of a broader push to support enterprise customers in major legal and commercial hubs. The company said the new locations will host teams across engineering, customer success, and go-to-market functions, with an emphasis on improving product localization for customers operating across jurisdictions and languages.
Growth metrics and enterprise adoption
Ivo said that, over the last year:
ARR increased by 600%
The customer base grew by 134%
Adoption within the Fortune 500 increased by 250%
The company cited a customer roster that includes IBM, Uber, Shopify, Atlassian, Reddit, and Canva, and said enterprise demand has been driven by legal teams seeking faster and more consistent methods for reviewing contracts and extracting structured information from agreements.
The expansion follows a $55 million funding round that the company said it closed last month.
Product positioning and performance claims
Ivo describes itself as an AI-powered contract intelligence platform designed for in-house legal and contracting teams.
The company said its tools are intended to support two primary use cases: (1) accelerating contract review and (2) providing searchable visibility across large agreement portfolios.
Ivo said its platform can enable legal teams to review contracts 75% faster and surface answers to “business-critical questions” in minutes rather than months, framing the product as a way for companies to treat contracts less as static documents and more as operational data.
Executive commentary
Min-Kyu Jung, Ivo’s CEO and co-founder, said the company’s expansion is tied to customer proximity and scaling support as usage grows.
“We are committed to being where customers are and building a team that will help them succeed,” Jung said, referring to the new offices and hiring plans.
Jung also argued that many organizations still struggle to extract insights from contracts despite agreements sitting at the center of key commercial relationships.
Customer references
The announcement included statements from enterprise customers describing adoption criteria and results.
Uber said it selected Ivo based on usability, accuracy, multilingual capability, and confidentiality requirements. Kate Gardner, Senior Manager of Contract Operations at Uber, said the product met internal needs and that the company was responsive during deployment.
CDW also described improved efficiency from Ivo’s contract review tooling and said the company’s broader intelligence product could have wider business impact by surfacing insights from contract databases. Carla Michel, Director and Senior Counsel at CDW, characterized Ivo’s customer service as a differentiator.
Next steps
Ivo said the London and New York offices are intended to strengthen support for multinational customers and accelerate updates related to localization and workflow integration. The company also framed its next phase of development around improving reliability and trust as contract AI tools move deeper into enterprise legal operations.
