Samsung Electronics has launched its latest AI-powered smartphones and wireless earbuds, aiming to strengthen its position in the global mobile market.
The company announced that the third-generation AI smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, along with the Galaxy Buds4 series wireless earbuds, will begin rolling out on March 11 in major markets including South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. The new products are expected to become available in about 120 countries worldwide in phases.
Early market response has been positive. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and Vietnam recorded double-digit growth compared with the previous model, according to Samsung.
The Galaxy S26 lineup combines upgraded hardware with enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities to deliver an improved user experience. The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces a new privacy display feature that prevents people from viewing the screen from the side, enhancing data security.
Samsung has also introduced a new AI-powered call screening function that answers unknown calls on behalf of the user and summarizes the caller’s identity and the purpose of the conversation.
Camera performance has also been significantly upgraded. AI-powered imaging features such as Nightography for improved low-light photography, Super Steady for enhanced video stabilization, Photo Assist for text-based photo editing, and Creative Studio for generating visual content are now available across the entire lineup.
Samsung is offering several promotional benefits for customers who purchase the Galaxy S26 series within March. These include a 10 percent discount on the Galaxy Buds4 series, a 30 percent discount on official cases and accessories, and a coupon for a discounted 60W charger. Digital benefits such as audiobook subscriptions and gaming content are also included.
Galaxy Buds4 Series Introduced with Enhanced AI and Comfort
Alongside the smartphones, Samsung has also introduced the Galaxy Buds4 series, which includes the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 models.
The earbuds feature improved high-fidelity sound quality and an ergonomic design aimed at enhancing comfort during extended use. One of the standout features is a head gesture function that allows users to answer calls or control voice assistants simply by moving their head.
When paired with Galaxy devices, the earbuds can also access Galaxy AI capabilities such as AI voice commands and real-time translation.
The Galaxy Buds4 series will be available in white and black. The Buds4 Pro will also come in an exclusive pink gold color available through Samsung.com and the Samsung Gangnam store.
Samsung said nearly 90 percent of early buyers chose the Buds4 Pro model, indicating strong demand for the premium version.
The company will also release a variety of unique accessory cases for the earbuds. These include a “traditional pattern” series inspired by Korean mother-of-pearl designs, as well as novelty cases themed after retro game consoles, canned goods, outdoor brand Helinox collaborations, and the popular Korean snack “Choco Songi.”
Jung Hojin, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Korea Mobile Business, said the Galaxy S26 series significantly improves AI functionality, camera performance, and security.
He added that when combined with the Galaxy Buds4 series, users will be able to experience an even more expanded Galaxy ecosystem.
