Netmarble announced that its new mobile idle RPG, StoneAge: Idle Adventure (developed by Netmarble N2), will officially launch worldwide on March 3, excluding select countries such as China and Vietnam.
StoneAge: Idle Adventure is the latest installment in the long-running Stone Age intellectual property. The game reinterprets core features of the original title — including pet capture and pet riding — while adapting them to modern mobile gaming trends. Netmarble said the game emphasizes intuitive systems designed to maximize the fun of progression, competition and cooperation.
The original Stone Age franchise has attracted more than 200 million players worldwide. Known for its dinosaur-themed pet collection system and accessible gameplay, the IP gained strong popularity not only in South Korea but also in markets such as China and Taiwan.
Ahead of the official launch, Netmarble conducted a soft launch in selected regions and refined the game based on user feedback.
In StoneAge: Idle Adventure, players can combine up to six trainers and 18 pets to build large-scale decks of up to 24 units, enabling customized strategies. Fan-favorite pets such as Mogaros, Berga and Yangiro return with updated, more charming designs while retaining their original characteristics.
The game also offers a variety of competitive and cooperative content, including Advent Raid, where numerous pets battle simultaneously; Tower of the Sky, a server-wide ranking competition; Ranch, which features real-time resource interaction; and Mechapet Hunt, where tribe members work together to repel invasions.
Netmarble is currently holding global pre-registration events ahead of launch. Players who pre-register via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store will receive the rideable pet “Khaki,” along with additional in-game rewards through mobile pre-registration bonuses.
