Amorepacific reported a sharp increase in sales during Amazon’s “Big Spring Sale,” with its major brands posting a 201% year-on-year surge in revenue.
The Big Spring Sale, one of Amazon’s key shopping events alongside Prime Day and Black Friday, ran for one week starting March 25.
Body and hair care products delivered particularly strong performance during the event. Illiyoon’s Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream sold more than 40,000 units, ranking third in the facial moisturizer category, while its sales rose 384% compared to the previous year. Mise-en-Scène also performed strongly, with its Perfect Serum topping the hair styling oil category and recording a 237% increase in sales.
Notably, brands that have not officially entered the North American market also showed significant growth. Leveraging social media-driven marketing, as well as collaborations with dermatologists and local influencers, Laboh achieved an exceptional 8,149% increase in sales. Other brands, including Espoir (up 191%), Aeyunchae (208%), and Longtake (347%), also recorded solid growth.
In the lifestyle category, Osulloc’s Samda Honey Pear Tea ranked first in the fruit tea segment, highlighting growing consumer interest in Korean wellness products.
Amorepacific said the strong performance reflects increasing demand among U.S. consumers for high-functionality K-beauty products tailored to diverse skincare needs. The company added that it plans to further strengthen its presence in the North American market, particularly during the upcoming major shopping season in June.
