BARCELONA, Spain – TRON DAO announced that global fintech firm Revolut has integrated the TRON blockchain into its platform, enabling new staking and stablecoin-related services for Revolut users across Europe.
Under the integration, Revolut users can stake TRX, TRON’s native token, directly within the Revolut app. The service offers protocol-level staking with no platform fee charged by Revolut, although validator fees may still apply. The integration also supports stablecoin transfers on the TRON network and allows 1:1 conversion between fiat currencies and supported stablecoins within Revolut’s European payments infrastructure.
Revolut’s adoption of TRON forms part of its broader “Crypto 2.0” initiative, aimed at expanding regulated digital asset services across all 30 European Economic Area (EEA) markets. Through this setup, Revolut users gain access to TRON’s blockchain network, which is widely used for stablecoin transactions and high-volume cross-border transfers due to its relatively low fees and fast confirmation times.
According to TRON DAO, the integration allows Revolut customers to participate in network staking without managing wallets, validators, or on-chain operations directly. In parallel, TRON’s stablecoin infrastructure is used to facilitate faster remittances and reduce friction in cross-border payments, particularly within Europe.
Revolut said the collaboration aligns with its strategy to simplify access to digital assets while operating within Europe’s evolving regulatory framework. As the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation comes into force, partnerships between regulated fintech platforms and established blockchain networks are emerging as a model for offering compliant crypto services at scale.
TRON’s blockchain ecosystem supports hundreds of millions of accounts globally and is commonly used by exchanges and payment providers for stablecoin settlements. The Revolut integration follows similar infrastructure-level connections between TRON and other crypto service providers, reflecting broader industry efforts to connect traditional financial platforms with public blockchain networks.
* A validator fee of up to 3% of gross staking rewards is deducted on-chain by third-party validators before rewards are credited to Revolut users.
