Dongkook Pharmaceutical is expected to deliver another quarter of double-digit growth in the second quarter of 2026, driven by robust overseas demand for its derma cosmetics and the continued expansion of its healthcare business. As the company broadens its global footprint, industry observers say it is steadily transforming from a traditional pharmaceutical manufacturer into a diversified healthcare and beauty company.
According to market consensus compiled by FnGuide, Dongkook Pharmaceutical is expected to post second-quarter consolidated revenue of KRW 262.4 billion and operating profit of KRW 26.8 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 12.4% and 21.0%, respectively. Annual revenue is also projected to exceed KRW 1 trillion for the first time in the company's history.
While the company's prescription drug (ETC) business continues to provide stable earnings, healthcare has emerged as its fastest-growing segment. Cosmetics, led by the Centellian24 brand, have become a key contributor as overseas sales continue to expand across North America and Asia.
The United States has become one of Dongkook Pharmaceutical's most important growth markets. Earlier this year, the company expanded its offline presence by entering approximately 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores across the country. In Japan, its products are now available through major retail chains including Don Quijote, Loft, and Matsumoto Kiyoshi, significantly broadening consumer access.
Online sales have also gained momentum. During Amazon Prime Day, Centellian24's "360 Shot PDRN Lifting Eye Cream" ranked No. 1 in the Eye Treatment category, while "Madeca Cream Time Reverse" entered the top rankings in the Face Moisturizer category. The strong performance demonstrated the growing competitiveness of the brand in the global beauty market and highlighted the success of its diversified product portfolio.
To reinforce its long-term growth strategy, Dongkook Pharmaceutical is also strengthening its derma-cosmetic business. The company recently established an advisory panel consisting of five dermatologists and has begun developing "Madeca Labs," a skincare brand designed exclusively for hospitals and dermatology clinics. The new product line will focus on skin barrier recovery and post-procedure skincare, targeting the professional medical aesthetics market.
Although higher overseas marketing expenses may weigh modestly on second-quarter profitability, industry analysts expect those investments to translate into stronger revenue growth in the second half of the year as newly expanded distribution channels begin contributing more meaningfully to sales.
With prescription pharmaceuticals providing stable cash flow and its global beauty business rapidly expanding, Dongkook Pharmaceutical is increasingly positioning itself as a global healthcare company. The continued international growth of Centellian24, combined with expanding retail partnerships and new premium skincare initiatives, is expected to support the company's next phase of growth.
