DENVER, Colorado — Feb. 19, 2026 — Sonic Labs, the team behind the Sonic blockchain, announced the launch of Spawn, an AI-based platform designed to generate full-stack Web3 applications from natural-language prompts. The company previewed the product at ETHDenver 2026 through live demonstrations and said early access is available ahead of a broader public release.
Sonic Labs said Spawn is intended to reduce the technical requirements typically associated with building decentralized applications, which often involve smart-contract development, security considerations, deployment processes, wallet integration, and frontend engineering.
According to the company, Spawn converts plain-English prompts into smart contracts, compiles and deploys them on-chain, and generates a frontend with wallet connectivity. Sonic Labs said the platform is designed to support end-to-end development—from contract logic to user interface and blockchain interaction—through a single workflow.
“Web3 has always promised open access, but building on-chain has remained too complex for most people,” said Samuel Harcourt, a core contributor at Sonic Labs. He said Spawn aims to let users deploy applications by describing an idea in natural language.
Sonic Labs said Spawn deploys generated contracts to the Sonic testnet and can iteratively adjust contract logic, frontend components, and deployment settings using an integrated AI agent called Spawny, which operates through a conversational interface.
The company said Spawn is built to deploy applications on the Sonic blockchain, which it described as EVM-compatible and optimized for performance and low fees. Sonic Labs said the platform is intended for use cases including on-chain games, NFT collections, DeFi applications, DAOs, and payment systems.
At ETHDenver 2026, Sonic Labs demonstrated Spawn by generating a Snake game with an on-chain leaderboard from a single prompt, the company said. The game is available at snake.soniclabs.com, where attendees can compete for leaderboard rankings and receive Sonic merchandise, according to the company.
