Hands-on Demos and Interactive Booths Aim to Strengthen Presence in the Japanese Market
Netmarble announced that it will participate in Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026), one of the world's largest gaming exhibitions, where it will unveil three upcoming titles as part of its strategy to expand its presence in Japan and the global gaming market.
The company said it will exhibit "Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Strongest," "Solo Leveling: KARMA," and "Pearl in Blue" at Tokyo Game Show 2026, which will be held from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Netmarble has also launched a dedicated TGS 2026 website, where information about the featured games, booth programs, stage events, and exhibition activities will be released sequentially ahead of the event.
One of the company's headline titles, "Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Strongest," is a tag-switch collectible RPG based on the hit Japanese IP "Shangri-La Frontier," which has surpassed one billion cumulative online views and more than 17 million copies of its manga in circulation.
The game marks the franchise's first video game adaptation and features strategic combat through one-handed controls, tag-based team combinations, and faithful recreations of the original story, characters, and unique monsters. Visitors to the Netmarble booth will be able to experience the game's combat system through a playable demo, while stage presentations highlighting the title are also scheduled.
"Solo Leveling: KARMA" is a mobile roguelite action RPG based on the globally popular "Solo Leveling" anime. The game introduces an original storyline that takes place after the events of the anime, offering fast-paced action with intuitive controls while allowing players to create diverse combat builds through different weapon and buff combinations.
A playable demo at TGS will give visitors the opportunity to experience dimensional battles and the game's roguelite action mechanics firsthand.
Netmarble will also introduce "Pearl in Blue," a narrative-driven subculture collectible RPG centered on building relationships with heroines, each carrying emotional scars of their own.
The game features knight squad management, cinematic 2D anime-style cutscenes, and relationship-focused content infused with romantic comedy elements. Visitors will be able to explore the game's universe through playable demonstrations, immersive exhibition spaces, and various interactive events inspired by its world setting.
Tokyo Game Show is widely recognized as one of the world's premier gaming exhibitions, providing a global stage for publishers to introduce new titles, technologies, and services. For South Korean game companies, the event also serves as an important gateway to the Japanese market, one of the world's largest gaming industries.
Through live demonstrations, stage presentations, and hands-on experiences, Netmarble aims to showcase the unique gameplay and appeal of each title while strengthening engagement with Japanese and international gamers.
