LG Household & Health Care (LG H&H) said its functional beauty and personal care brands delivered strong sales growth during Amazon Prime Day, highlighting the company's growing competitiveness in the global e-commerce market.
According to LG H&H, its neo-beauty brands Dr.Groot and Euthymol posted sales increases of 45.9% and 54.3%, respectively, during this year's Amazon Prime Day event held from June 23 to 26, compared with the previous year. The company attributed the performance to its focus on addressing specific consumer needs, including hair loss care and teeth whitening.
Dr.Groot, which has been expanding its presence in North America's fast-growing K-haircare market, achieved particularly strong results. Its Hair Thickening Shampoo and Miracle In-Shower Moisturizing Treatment ranked second in their respective categories, reinforcing the brand's position in the hair-loss care segment.
Euthymol also benefited from rising demand for whitening oral care products among North American consumers. Its Purple Whitening Toothpaste and other whitening products recorded robust sales growth and secured top rankings in their categories during the promotional event.
Meanwhile, oral care brand REACH further strengthened LG H&H's portfolio, with its dental floss and interdental brush products ranking among the leading products in Amazon's dental floss category.
Other LG H&H brands also posted notable performances. CNP's lip care product Lipcerin ranked No. 1 in the lip butter category, while belif attracted strong consumer interest with its new hero product, Frozen Cream, following the continued popularity of its best-selling Aqua Bomb moisturizer.
In addition, The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Tissue ranked fourth in the Makeup Cleansing Wipes category, while Physiogel Red Soothing Cream earned a top-tier position in the Facial Night Cream category, demonstrating the company's expanding global product portfolio.
An LG H&H official said the company successfully combined high-performance products with a full-funnel marketing strategy to strengthen engagement with North American consumers.
"We focused on expanding customer touchpoints by integrating functional product innovation with full-funnel marketing," the official said. "Going forward, we will continue to refine our product offerings and marketing strategies based on customer data and category insights to further strengthen our competitiveness in the global e-commerce market."
