Woori Bank announced on March 23 that its mobile financial platform, Woori WON Banking, has won awards in both the Branding & Communication Design and App/Software categories at the prestigious 2026 iF Design Award.
Organized by Germany’s International Forum Design, the iF Design Award is one of the world’s most renowned design competitions, evaluating entries based on innovation, functionality, and overall design excellence. Woori WON Banking received high marks for its data-driven personalized user experience, platform scalability across financial and non-financial services, and the establishment of a cohesive design system.
In particular, the app’s personalized UX features—such as proactively notifying users of key financial events like product maturities based on their financial data—were highly praised. The platform also enhances user convenience by enabling customers to manage assets across multiple institutions through MyData integration and providing insights tailored to individual spending patterns.
Kim Jun-han, head of the Customer Experience Design Center at Woori Bank, said, “This award is a meaningful achievement that demonstrates global recognition of the user-centric UX philosophy and service innovation that Woori WON Banking has pursued.”
