NC is preparing to put its upcoming fantasy RPG Astrae Oratio through a wider round of testing, inviting selected players from around the world to experience the game ahead of its full launch.
The company said Tuesday that the global closed beta test (CBT) for Astrae Oratio, developed by Dynamis One, will take place from Oct. 2 through Oct. 6 on Android and iOS devices.
Applications for the test were accepted from Aug. 19 through Sept. 21. NC has begun notifying selected participants, with invitations being sent out sequentially through email.
The five-day test will be available in Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and English, allowing players across several key markets to experience the game and provide feedback on its core systems.
The CBT will offer a broader look at Astrae Oratio, including three main story chapters and two side stories. Players will also be able to experience a raid mode being introduced publicly for the first time, along with 18 playable characters and a range of combat and character interaction features.
The upcoming test follows the game's first public playable demonstration at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held in Tokyo from Sept. 17-20. NC plans to use feedback gathered during the event and the global CBT to refine the game's systems and content.
By opening the game to players across multiple regions, the company aims to gather more diverse feedback during the development process and further improve the overall quality of Astrae Oratio ahead of its global release.
More details on the global CBT and the game are available through the official Astrae Oratio social media channels.
