Nongshim participated in KOOM 2025 in New York on October 16 (local time), an event hosted by the United Korean Founders (UKF), offering attendees a hands-on look at the company’s global marketing centered on its flagship K‑food brand, Shin Ramyun.
KOOM 2025, a three-day gathering combining business networking with Korean culture, runs through October 18. The event features programs to support global startup growth and showcases a range of Korean content, including K‑food, K‑pop and K‑beauty. Organizers expect more than 10,000 participants this year, including entrepreneurs and investors.
Nongshim set up a flagship booth near the F&B Zone, a central K‑food experience area. The booth displayed a local collaboration product — the Shin Ramyun x “K‑Pop Demon Hunters” edition — currently sold in the U.S., underscoring Nongshim’s standing as a 대표 K‑food brand.
Through the booth, Nongshim aims to demonstrate how K‑food fused with K‑culture has influenced American consumers and to inspire startup founders attending the event.
A Nongshim spokesperson said the company hoped to encourage entrepreneurs by recalling its own origins as a startup 60 years ago and highlighting how Shin Ramyun has carried Korean flavors to the global market, while simultaneously raising awareness of the Nongshim brand.
