Pearl Abyss has announced the winners of its global gameplay video contest for ‘Crimson Desert’, titled ‘Beyond the Abyss: Community Challenge’, highlighting the creativity and passion of players from around the world.
The company selected a total of 10 winning entries, including six long-form videos and four short-form videos, after evaluating submissions based on gameplay quality, storytelling, and video editing. Winners from countries including France, Spain, the United States, China, and South Korea were recognized, demonstrating the strong global interest surrounding Crimson Desert.
‘Beyond the Abyss: Community Challenge’ was launched in June as a community event inviting players worldwide to share their own experiences and stories from the world of Crimson Desert through gameplay videos.
The winning submissions featured a wide range of creative approaches, from intense battles against enemies without relying on weapons to exploring the vast open world of Pywel using various mounts. Players showcased their own unique ways of experiencing the game, breaking away from conventional playstyles and delivering personalized stories through creative gameplay and cinematic presentation.
The selected winners will receive round-trip airfare and accommodation support for a visit to Pearl Abyss’ headquarters, ‘Home One’, where they will also receive commemorative Crimson Desert coins and exclusive merchandise.
Set in the expansive seamless open world of Pywel, Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game that follows the journey of protagonist Kliff and his Graymane companions. The title combines large-scale exploration, dynamic combat, and an immersive narrative experience within a vast fantasy world.
Through community-driven events such as ‘Beyond the Abyss,’ Pearl Abyss continues to engage with global players and showcase the diverse ways audiences connect with the world of Crimson Desert.
