A six rooms installation by Madalena Reversa.
Dreaming Beauty is a six rooms installation designed by Madalena Reversa for a teenage audience. It’s based on Bettelheim’s psychoanalytic interpretation of the tale Sleeping Beauty. Each room is an dreamlike space where voice, color, sound, light, smell and materials build a specific mood linked to an aspect of adolescence. To promote the project, Madalena Reversa (Maria Alterno and Richard Pareschi) asked me to design a product able to communicate Dreaming Beauty‘s essence, mood, and meaning. Since the rooms were still in construction we had no pictures of them, so we created six illustrations and six diary pages to represent each room.
